The GATE PTX HPA Pistol – Black (Gen 2) brings full-size HPA performance into an exceptionally compact pistol platform. Built around GATE's integrated PULSAR S2 HPA Engine and controlled by the ASTER II Bluetooth® V3 FCU, the PTX offers rapid trigger response, exceptional consistency and extensive electronic tuning in a lightweight sidearm-sized package.

Unlike a conventional gas blowback pistol, the PTX uses a dedicated electropneumatic HPA system with no moving slide. This provides the consistency, adjustability and reliability associated with high-end HPA rifles while retaining the fast handling and compact dimensions of an airsoft pistol.

Integrated PULSAR S2 HPA Engine

At the heart of the PTX is GATE's PULSAR S2, a compact single-solenoid HPA engine engineered specifically for the pistol.

Rather than simply adapting an existing rifle engine, GATE has integrated the PULSAR S2 directly with a VSR-style hop-up chamber. This creates precise alignment between the engine, hop unit and inner barrel, helping provide reliable feeding and excellent shot-to-shot consistency.

The open-bolt HPA system provides fast cycling and responsive performance while eliminating many of the temperature-related issues associated with traditional gas blowback pistols.

ASTER II Bluetooth® V3 FCU

The PTX is equipped with GATE's advanced ASTER II Bluetooth® V3 Fire Control Unit, giving you extensive electronic control over the pistol through the GATE Control Station (GCS) App on compatible Android and iOS devices.

This allows the PTX to be configured and fine-tuned electronically without dismantling the pistol.

The three-position selector provides SAFE, SEMI and AUTO, while additional modes including Binary and Burst can be configured through the GCS App.

Adjustable Optical Trigger

The PTX uses an optical trigger sensor combined with a magnetic trigger spring, providing an extremely fast and responsive trigger without relying on traditional mechanical electrical contacts.

Both trigger sensitivity and travel can be adjusted, allowing the pistol to be configured for anything from conventional skirmish use to extremely responsive competitive setups.

CNC 7075 Aluminium Construction

The PTX isn't simply about performance. Its body is precision manufactured from CNC-machined 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium with a premium matte anodised finish.

This provides a strong and rigid platform while maintaining the compact dimensions that make the PTX so effective in CQB environments.

This version features the stealthy Full Black finish for a clean tactical appearance.

Adjustable HPA Performance

One of the major advantages of the PTX platform is its ability to adjust performance through your HPA setup.

Depending on operating pressure, BB weight and configuration, GATE specifies an energy range of approximately 0.53–1.52 Joules, allowing the pistol to be configured to suit different environments and site limits.

Performance of up to 50 RPS is possible depending on configuration, making the PTX considerably more than a conventional airsoft sidearm.

Always chrono the pistol using the BB weight you intend to play with and adjust it to comply with your site's limits.

VSR Hop-Up Compatibility

The integrated hop-up system uses VSR-spec inner barrels and hop buckings, giving PTX owners access to one of the largest selections of aftermarket precision barrel and hop components in airsoft.

This provides excellent upgrade potential for players looking to further tune their PTX for accuracy, range or BB weight.

Dedicated High-Capacity Magazines

Rather than using conventional gas magazines, the PTX uses lightweight dedicated BB magazines because the HPA power source is supplied separately.

The pistol is supplied with an 80-round Mid-Cap Magazine, with both 80-round and 120-round PTX magazines available for the platform.

This provides significantly greater ammunition capacity than most conventional gas pistol magazines while eliminating the need to refill each magazine with gas.
